Early developmental delay (ages 3-5): Duval private schools and FES-UA funding

Because FES-UA opens at age three, early developmental delay is how many preschool families first enter the program. 31 private schools in Duval tell the state they serve this category, and 23 of them also accept the Private School Scholarship.

Last verified: October 2026

Copied from the state record. School details on this page come from the Florida Department of Education Private School Directory (Duval district), pulled October 28, 2026. The scholarship flags are the state's own participant flags on that date. The state does not collect tuition, so confirm the price with the school.

What does the FES-UA account pay for when a child has early developmental delay (ages 3-5)?

From age three the account can cover a private preschool, therapies and specialist summer programs.
If the VPK provider reports this category too, a family can combine the free VPK hours with the account for therapy or longer days.

The account can pay a school's tuition and eligible fees, licensed therapies, credentialed tutors, curriculum, assistive technology, specialized summer programs, testing and evaluations. See every category →
